Developing the social and interpersonal skills that are required for workforce-ready graduates is at the heart of Brightsity’s work in higher education. We have tested our courses in undergraduate, graduate and university supported programs (student leadership, alumni engagement) and have statistically significantly diminished their anxiety, stress, and depression, while statistically significantly increasing their leadership capacity, service orientation, emotional intelligence, teamwork capacity, and many other job-related competencies.
What does this mean for universities? It means that they can only provide their students with an appreciation of how much they’ve changed over the course of a semester using the competencies that are purportedly being trained and thought, but they can also use this incredibly granular data for the purposes of accreditation. It also gives faculty the opportunity to collect did it for the purposes of their own research and publication.
We offer competency and interpersonal skills development tailored to all of the challenges facing higher education. Our approach helps administrators, faculty, and students develop their skills, support research, accredit their programs and market their capacity.
Students 10-12 want to be engaged by their curriculum, and nothing does this better than giving them the opportunity to use structured coursework that encourages both self-discovery as well as opportunities to test healthy and productive behavior. Whether you are a unified school district seeking to improve education (and prove efficacy), a principal eager to provide your teachers and students research and evidence based educational training, a counselor working to increase well-being in students, or a teacher supporting the social/emotional and psychological learning needs of their students, we have a program to meet the moment.
